Members of the
House and Senate Republican caucuses held a joint press conference at the State
House today to outline a series of administrative and legislative proposals aimed
at addressing the migrant crisis and the ongoing problems occurring within the
state’s emergency assistance family shelter program. The GOP package focuses on
transparency, accountability, public safety and fiscal responsibility, with
the proposed
reforms designed to address both short-term and long-term challenges.
